• The main objective of this TOR within the project “Women Civic Education Ambassadors in Rural Areas” is to recruit a project assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information
• Liaise with stakeholders to and define project requirements, scope and objectives
• Monitor and track project’s progress and handle any issues that arise
• Use project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans and money spent
• Issue all appropriate legal paperwork
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
• To effectively and efficiently manage assigned projects.
• ∙ To effectively communicate with stakeholders to ensure positive project outcomes.
• ∙ Provide competent management of human and financial resources.
• ∙ Ensure the quality of activities by tracking and optimizing processes.

Skills:

• Project assistants should be proficient in applying standard project management methods. Project assistants should possess a large range of soft skills, be able to work proactively and always think ahead.
• Management knowledge
• Good communication skills and team spirit
• Organisational talent
• A structured way of working
• Analytical skills

A high level of personal responsibility and self-discipline

Time Commitment:

• ∙ 7 hours a day, 35 hours a week, 5 days a week.

Supervision/Training:

• ∙ Monthly supervision/training groups provided by the Responsible of Civic Engagement Projects.
• ∙ Individual meetings with the Responsible of Civic Engagement Projects when necessary. ∙ External growth and training opportunities when possible.
