Materials Planner
Overall Purpose of the Role: To ensure that the supply of materials meet the production schedule and minimum stock levels to ensure operational and production continuity. Able to deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet production requirements. Maintains strong relationships both internally and externally to ensure supply of materials meets requirements.

-Main missions:
· Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels.
· Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit.
· Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions.
· Day-to-day order management and management of deliveries
· Understand and manage risks to minimise impact on production schedule
· Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production.
· Implementation of the supply plan using the forecast database, the production plan or the industrial and commercial plan (PIC).
· Manage and update production orders in the ERP – from their creation to their launch for production until their closure.
· Select and choose and negotiate terms of purchase with suppliers.
· Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues: time, quantity, quality.
· Ensure accuracy of material planning master data
· Develop and implement inventory and supply management strategies.
· Manage supplier performance KPIs and raw material coverage against targets.
· Create and manage the action plan to reduce the risk of obsolete stock and excess inventory.
Qualifications
Profile :
– BAC + 5
– engineer in industrial engineering, Industrial engineer and logistics system, Supply chain
· Fluency in French and English
· Experience working with ERP
· Proactive, good control of time with a culture of continuous improvement.
· Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills.
· Good communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
. Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
