The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing clear, quality code to develop the best software. You will test your code, identify errors, and iterate to ensure quality code. You will also support our customers and partners by troubleshooting any of their software issues. 

Job Specifics

• ● Responsible for design, documentation, development, coding, testing, and/or debugging of any major new software
• ● Perform troubleshooting and maintenance support on any existing software
• ● Develop custom solutions working with data team to connect disparate systems coding into available APIs
• ● Maintain, update, and provide ongoing support on main website and other production web applications
• ● Team up with business leads to identify potential technologies to streamline processes and support operational functions
• ● Research technologies and environments to ensure optimization of current usage

Responsibilities

• Detect and troubleshoot software issues
• Write clear quality code for software and applications and perform test reviews
• Develop, implement, and test APIs
• Provide input on software development projects

Qualifications

• Comfort using programming languages and relational databases
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• 3+ years’ of development experience

Requirements:

• ● 2+ years of recent experience developing in JavaScript for web development. Experience in TypeScript and Angular is a plus.
• ● Experience using Node.js in back-end development. Back end experience must be using Javascript.
• ● Preferred experience with front-end component based frameworks to accompany Javascript expertise.
• ● Hands-on experience in building secure REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
• ● Experience working in an Agile based development environment, using concepts such as Continuous Integration, and TDD.
• ● Experience in working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• ● Experience in cloud platforms (AWS preferred). AWS certifications are a plus.
• ● Design and implement new features and functionality in WordPress
• ● Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• ● Ability to work in an environment that is fast paced, constantly changing and full of outgoing and dynamic individuals
