Description
The IT support technician is to be based in Tunis and provide helpdesk support to all TADAEEM staff in the Tunis and regional office with IT related troubleshooting and solutions.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsibilities:
Backup and data restoration on desktop/laptop systems;
Provide on site and offsite technical support through (phone, text messaging, and emails) to TADAEEM staff;
Manage the daily routine operations and maintenance of IT software system applications;
Regularly communicate with TADEEM staff (end users) and understand issues related to applications;
Basic troubleshooting of necessary IT networking;
User Administration (Active Directory, VPN);
Install and manage Printers and network print controllers;
Provide IT support to project related workshops and events; and
Any other duties assigned by supervisor or project leadership.
Requirements:
Experience in IT troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
Possesses a thorough knowledge of computer hardware and software applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Windows 10, Office 365, Windows Server, and familiarity with Microsoft SQL.
Fluency in French, Arabic and English (verbal and written)
Ability to work independently
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems; or related discipline is desired.
2 years of experience in IT or a related field with a strong background in operating systems, desktop and hardware support.
Reporting Requirements
IT Support Technician will report to the IT Manager, and Chief of Party, as needed.
