Senior Data Scientist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in satellite imagery processing, time series forecasting, and Generative AI. This role will play a critical part in advancing our technology and delivering impactful solutions for sustainable farming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement algorithms for processing and analyzing satellite imagery.
- Conduct time series forecasting for crop yield predictions and irrigation needs.
- Leverage Generative AI to enhance data analysis and model development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into our platforms.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.
Requirements:
- Engineering Degree, Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on satellite imagery processing and time series forecasting.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (scikit-learn).
- Experience with Generative AI techniques and models (GANs, VAEs).
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Agtech sector or related industries.
- Knowledge of geospatial analysis tools and techniques.
- Experience with real-time data processing and IoT integration.
