About the Role

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Project Manager to join an innovative and rapidly growing company on a key project. This role is perfect for a skilled and experienced Project Manager ready to oversee the execution of a 100MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in the central part of Tunisia.

As the Project Manager, you will be at the helm of planning, coordinating, and executing the project to ensure its successful delivery. Your responsibilities will include adhering to contractual, technical, financial, regulatory, and safety requirements. You will play a crucial role in driving project success, optimizing timelines, mitigating risks, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders such as EPC contractors, regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and local authorities.

Essential Key Qualifications

• A strong background in renewable energy project management, with specific expertise in large-scale solar PV projects. A combination of technical, financial, and leadership skills is essential to ensure successful project execution.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil), Renewable Energy, Project Management, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience managing large-scale solar PV projects (100MW+), with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• EPC C Contract Management: Strong knowledge of EPC contract management, risk mitigation strategies, and performance liquidated damages(LDs) to ensure contractual compliance and minimize financial risks.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience working with utilities, grid operators, and regulatory bodies in Tunisia or similar markets, ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth interconnection.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of solar PV technology, power systems, construction methodologies, and grid interconnection to oversee all technical aspects effectively.
• Financial Oversight: Experience in managing large project budgets and working with financial institutions to secure and comply with project financing agreements.
• Leadership C Communication: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multicultural teams and diverse stakeholders in complex project environments.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English and French is required; Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification to demonstrate expertise in structured project management methodologies.
• Technical Tools C Digitalization: Experience with SCADA, performance monitoring, and digital tools for project management to optimize project oversight and decision-making.
• Sustainability C Climate Resilience: Strong understanding of climate resilience measures and sustainability best practices for integrating long-term environmental strategies into the project.
• Legal C Contractual Knowledge: Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and international EPC legal frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
