About the Business Unit
GLP-1 Diabetes & Biopharm is a newly created Business Unit that provides you the opportunity to drive Novo Nordisk GLP-1 Diabetes, Haemophilia and Growth Hormone disorder products, including both launch and established brands. You will be fully responsible for the sales and marketing team and activities in Tunisia. We continuously improve patient outcomes through building strong access to innovative products in different therapy areas. We focus on developing and realization of our strategy, execution of relevant projects across all products’ departments of Novo Nordisk in Tunisia.
The team consists of highly motivated sales personnel that are passionate about improving the lives of patients with Diabetes, Haemophilia and Growth Hormone disorder. Our products can make a significant difference.
The Job
As the Business Unit Head, your key areas of responsibility are to lead, develop and implement both strategic and tactical plans, as well as create awareness of Novo Nordisk GLP-1 Diabetes & Biopharm products in and amongst medical professionals. On top of that, you are accountable to drive our sales growth strategy, ensure execution excellence, develop field force competency, keep abreast of market and sales insights, and build and maintain good relations with internal and external key stakeholders. Ensure sales GLP-1 diabetes, Haemophilia and Growth Hormone disorder products on national level; establish and maintain a broad network of key stakeholders with influence on sales and market access outcomes to promote learning, understanding and considerations of customer’s and payer’s needs;
You will represent Novo Nordisk towards key opinion leaders and other stakeholders and expected to invest significant time and effort in leading, supporting and working cross functionally. You will be part of the Management Team and report to the General Manager Novo Nordisk Tunisia.
Qualifications
You hold an academic qualification or relevant degree in Commercial Affairs, Pharmacy or Science. You have at least 5 to 7 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other industries and with minimum three years of people management responsibility. You have strong business acumen, and preferably knowledge of the Diabetes, Haemophilia and Growth Hormone disorder. The strong candidate will possess a high level of strategic capability, strong operational excellence and a proven track record in leadership and business performance. You possess excellent communication and engagement skills, learning ability, engaged, dynamic and results-driven person with fluency in English (verbal and written).
