ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of our UX/UI Designer role is to shape the creative communication for our users, both for our own products as well as Mondia’s own services. This role is critical to provide state-of-the-art user experiences as well as guiding them to the point of purchase seamlessly. You will be in close contact with product management as well as the campaign-focused teams, thereby shaping the creative strategy.

Other responsibilities: 

• Create visual UI designs for mobile apps, tv apps, mobile websites, responsive websites, wearables.
• Create design mocks or click-dummies in a timely fashion
• Utilize the best and most modern practices to produce highly user-centered designs across a diverse set of requirements and features. Understand user flows, analyse user’s needs and requirements to design a creative solution with an excellent user experience.
• To be the voice of design within an agile environment, and ensuring the design agenda is not lost in translation into code with usability, accessibility, and web/mobile standards.
•  Work with developers to ensure proper implementation within a web/mobile environment and ensure consistency and integrity of the creative vision.
• Maintain knowledge of design trends, technologies, and internet standards to display initiative in creative problem-solving.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and user experience
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders
•  Establish and extend internal design guidelines, best practices and standards to ensure design consistency across multiple interfaces

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate has exceptionally high ownership, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to work with agility in a fast-paced environment. They would also be insanely focused on demonstrating excellence in service delivery and problem-solving; breaking down complex information into understandable and actionable items. 

Other qualifications include:

• At least two years of experience as a UX/UI Designer
• Bachelor Degree in IT/Computer Science
• Strong knowledge of conversion optimization, user flows, portal enhancements, and the mobile-first approach
• Strong communication skills with a client-centric approach
• A plus is if you have experience in creating premiums UX concepts for portals and enhancing the overall user experience and user journeys not only for the web but also for apps
• Fluent in English
