Duties and Responsibilities of the Content Producer
LIBYA DESK is looking for a talented, skilled video editor with a creative eye and attention to details to translate producer’s scripts and raw footage into a coherent and appealing final multimedia product.
So if you are a storyteller, experienced in using video editing softwares and identifying the right sound effects, graphics and special effects to deliver original high-quality and impactful video content, we would like to meet you.
Main responsibilities:
- Determine production style and format.
- Review raw materials and provide producers with shot list to make their scripts.
- Perform needed sound balance and color correction to ensure picture quality.
- Identify sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects based on stories’ nature.
- Ensure the project follows a logical sequence and is in line with editorial values and guidelines.
- Consult with the production team throughout the project.
- Test graphics across various media.
- Amend designs after feedback.
- Ensure final videos and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
Competencies
Technical/Functional Competencies
- Ability to translate ideas and scripts into complete projects.
- Hands-on experience with editing software, including Adobe, After Effect, Final Cut, Premier.
- Sound technical knowledge of professional lighting and photography equipment.
- Creative and artistic skills.
- Ability to perform simple 2D animation, Motion graphics and VFX.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage workload with minimum supervision and collaborate with colleagues to meet and exceed deadlines.

Required Skills and Experience
Applicants must have 3-5 experience or a Bachelor Degree in fields such as Design, Fine Arts, Marketing & Communications. Other relevant experience is welcome and will be considered.
Languages:
- Fluent in Arabic and English.

- This role will be paid based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
