Customer Support Specialist

Position Summary

As Revenue Management Consultant, you will be providing support and advice to our existing Hotels & Resorts globally. Your key objectives are to ensure clients get a quick response and optimize their use of the system whilst conveying a professional image.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer questions from our customers on our range of Infor Hospitality RMS products (support portal and phone).
• Support the clients’ use & knowledge of the system.
• Fully responsible for the resolution of issues you are handling.
• Proactively keep customers informed of how and when problems are resolved with focus on retention.
• Develop and maintain an advanced knowledge of system functions (and corresponding interfaces) to become an expert.
• Create and maintain documents in our global knowledge database, both for internal purposes and to distribute to clients.
• Ensure familiarity with and adherence to Infor standards and guidelines.
• Perform other duties that management may from time to time reasonably require.

 Key Requirements/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma in Hotel Administration or Business Administration.
• Hospitality professional with experience in Hotels, Resorts or Travel Industry.
• Excellent written and verbal language skills in English.
• Revenue Management or similar experience.
• Strong understanding of hotel distribution.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Clear communication and organizational skills.
• Independent and motivated.
• Confident with the use of computers (expert in Excel, Word, Power Point).
• Possess strong problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical abilities.
• Flexible and adaptable to multi-cultural environments.
• Highly capable in basic mathematics, including the calculation of common statistics, ratios and percentages, and a working knowledge of simple algebra.
• Any additional language is a plus.
