Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

We are looking for a bright and talented Senior, front-end-focused, Full Stack Software Engineer who shares the passion and keenness to join on this exciting journey to build the next Unicorn in the digital identity space.

What do we expect from you on the job?

• Develop software solutions and, when necessary, work with customers to collect information, conferring with users, understanding systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following/improving the software development lifecycle.
• Work on defining technical and operational feasibility.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by writing up documents and by writing code comments, and clear code.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and maintain deployment scripts and take care of product development lifecycle end to end, determine and design system specifications, standards.
• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, and by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Protect operations by keeping information confidential and ensure security by design (consider security from get go).
• Provide information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing development and service issues.
• Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Support and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
• Act flexibly and push the boundaries of the role and recognize the importance of covering areas beyond the role in a start-up ever-changing and very dynamic environment.

What capabilities do I need for the role?

• We value people who are honest, supportive, passionate, learn fast, have a growth mindset, enjoy solving complex engineering problems and are willing to challenge the status quo without fear of failure.
• As a Software Engineer within the IDWise team, you’ll need proven experience with software engineering techniques that achieve high quality solutions. We expect our engineers to own the full stack from coding to end-to-end testing.
• Proven experience in Typescript, Python and VueJS will be highly desirable. Any experience in the following areas will also be of great advantage: front end technologies, public cloud services (particularly AWS and serverless), API design, databases, message queues, continuous delivery.

Compensation:

• 1500 – 2000 USD gross monthly rate
• Possible equity for the right candidate
