Research Specialist

We are looking for an innovative, highly organized, and result-driven professional to join our team.

The Research Specialist conducts in-depth research for different products at a worldwide level, allowing to improve product quality, maximize cost savings and revenue opportunities across the company. Assists in the building and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders, information contributors (sources), and external providers.

Responsibilities

● Conducting in-depth research to assess product compliance and feasibility for pre-employment screening/KYC purposes. The research should also disclose information regarding any limitations/restrictions in terms of the data available, Corruption Perception Index (CPI) in the country, sanctions/embargoes/blacklisting imposed on the product’s country, etc.
● Extracting relevant content from a variety of sources and creating sourcing reports and product information in a format tailored to the needs of the company.
● Categorizing and organizing source material to create clear and user-friendly reports.
● Participating in mapping processes by gathering product information, collecting and organizing data.
● Monitoring of the local news of different countries to identify any changes or situations impacting the services provided, such as any changes in requirements, source and way of processing, case management, holidays notifications, etc. and, communicate them to the team manager as well as to other internal stakeholders, when applicable.
● Conducting benchmarking to help us enhance our services and propose better alternatives.
● Prospecting potential service providers that can offer high quality solutions at competitive fees to continuously improve our services. For this a benchmarking strategy is required.
● Implementation of new solutions as per the Governance.
● Updating various internal files and systems to keep a trace of the information of partner information (contact details, contract, costs, etc.) in the company’s system and internal partner management tools.
● Partner monitoring, compliance and audit. To be handled by using the internal procedures established for these purposes such as Partner Compliance Questionnaire, Due Diligence and Performance review. This includes monitoring the contract’s terms and conditions accuracy.
● Treatment of escalations in due time and form.
● Negotiate with partners when required by the management.
● Any other activities assigned by the management in compliance with the applicable legal requirements.

Requirements

Requirement for taking the position:

● A bachelor’s degree, in law or journalism preferred.
● High research and writing skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Command of a second language will be an asset.
● 2-years’ experience in some research position, law or journalism.
● High degree of problem-solving skills, personal motivation, curiosity, self-management, and ability to exercise independent judgment to complete tasks.
● Willingness to learn new concepts, research methods, and work routines with strong support and mentorship from the management.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Diligent and meticulous.
● High regard for compliance standards and quality control.
● Ability to follow directions.
● Excellent at organizing disparate written material into a coherent whole.
● Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
● Previous experience working in a multinational environment.
