As a UX Writer, you’ll come up with strategies that are intuitive, easy to understand, and in line with the goals of Expensya.

Your mission will be to help take our business to the next level with the power of words. You’ll create and shape the User Experience Writing practice by imagining, writing and executing innovative texts for digital media (application messages, error messages, titles, FAQs, e-mail, forms, etc.) within the Product Team. The role of this team is to define the roadmap of the product and ensure consistency as it evolves. But not only that, the Product Team is also responsible for synchronizing the work between the technical teams and the customer project management teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the current content, design and implement the new content
• Find smart ways to use data and research to evaluate and improve content
• Contribute to the evolution of our tone of voice and help other teams to use it in the best possible way
• Offer a content strategy perspective throughout the product development process
• Improve the user experience and engagement thanks to the different content you’ll create
• Write with both creativity and analytical thinking, through empathy and understanding of users behavior
• Use storytelling to ensure that all work focuses on the user’s needs: Write structured and dynamic stories encompassing the user, the application, and other users of the application
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and the technical team to deliver compelling UX solutions
• Track usability goals and prepare reports for senior management
• Ensure the same core message is well communicated despite language difference

• You have a university degree in Communication, Marketing or Journalism
• You have a significant experience of at least 4 years as a UX Writer, Technical Writer, Content Designer, Content strategist, Marketer, Journalist
• You have a proven experience in developing creative content for digital tech products (web and mobile products)
• You have an excellent knowledge of Figma, Notion, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• You’re fluent both in French and English
• You have strong verbal and written communication and you love to collaborate with lots of different functions
