Now we are looking for an IT Service Delivery Specialist to become part of a world-class and dedicated team of professionals focused on helping remotely and on-site, our regional users contributing to the overall business objectives. In this role you will work closely with the MEA IT Service Delivery team within the region, as well as our IT Centralized teams located in Costa Rica, India, The Philippines, Romania, and the United States.

This team is highly committed to providing an excellent customer experience, hence, you should inherently have the same forward-thinking, proactive, problem-solving approach to the user’s IT requests in a timely manner, maintaining the relationship with the business and making sure that the voice of the user is heard within the various IT forums and feedback surveys.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the IT and Telecommunications Infrastructure for the specified Area/sites ensuring the utilization of Hardware, Software and Communication Systems are consistent with the Global IT strategy.
• Providing onsite support, working closely with centrally provided IT services including design, operations and service desk to meet the agreed service levels.
• Building the relationship between IT and the Business to become the recognized and valued partner for the delivery of IT Service.
• Providing information and assist IT Service Delivery Manager with IT budgeting and cost control.
• Following and implementing Emerson policies regarding IT management, security, standards and procedures.
• Assisting users with business proposal generation, regarding our standards and policies.
• Ensuring optimum support for end-users at all times within agreed service levels.
• Ensuring that relevant IT documentation is maintained and up to date.
• Supporting and maintaining the IT Infrastructure security standards to be aligned with the Emerson security policy.
• Supporting and maintaining the IT Infrastructure systems and data access – to be run in collaboration with Service Desk.
• Supporting and maintaining the IT Infrastructure backup and recovery including Disaster Recovery Planning.
• Supporting and maintaining the IT Infrastructure asset management – including Hardware lifecycle management and SW licensing.
• Supporting and maintaining the IT Infrastructure audit compliance.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or Computer Science (experience may be considered in lieu of formal education)
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience within a general IT environment
• Previous experience in supporting clients, servers, communication equipment (preferably CISCO)
• Independently completes diverse tasks of the job and applies and enhances knowledge and skill in IP Networking and Administration, Security & Compliance tools (e.g. Ivanti/LanDesk, WSUS, Symantec, FireEye), Active Directory, GPO & policy design and support;
• Performs without assistance and is recognized as specialist for Windows Operating systems 7-10
• Good command of the English Language
