Our client is a leading Oil & Gas operator, currently working on a project in Tunisia. We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor for the project with the following details;
Purpose of position
The job holder is responsible to lead technically and administratively the Electrical group of technicians, to ensure that all preventive & corrective maintenance work on electrical UPS, MCC, HVAC, etc. are implemented and HSSE and Maintenance targets are achieved in line with the company standards.
Electrical Authority on site/field.
Key responsibilities
Leads the HV, MV and LV electrical maintenance group to carry out electrical and general related maintenance on company’s process plants and administrative buildings, workshops, offices and all associated equipment and installation in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with client’s technical and HSSE requirements.
Issue work orders and instructions in order to follow-up, react and execute on a day-to-day basis all technical matters arising during oil & gas production and to monitor all field activities related to electrical equipment maintenance.
Provide feedback to the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) system in order to maintain the equipment history file.
Execute and complete preventative and remedial maintenance in accordance with schedule and work instructions, with particular emphasis on safety critical activities. To maintain under instruction of the maintenance Superintendent company’s electrical and HVAC equipment and rooms which are including as follows:
- 1. PSU to DCS & ESD and all other control systems;
- 2. PSU to all Field instrumentation i.e. transmitters, meters, switches, gauges etc.;
- 3. Power (load) Management Systems;
- 4. Load distribution and shedding management system ;
- 5. Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs);
- 6. Transformers;
- 7. HV/MV Switchgears;
- 8. Electrical Motors;
- 9. Motor Control Centres (MCCs);
- 10. Generators i.e. diesel-gensets, etc;
- 11. Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC);
- 12. Electrical Cabling;
- 13. Lighting systems;
- 14. Electrical heaters in process areas and in administration bulding (kitchen) ; etc
Minimum-Requirements
Broad experience in the installation, repair, testing and maintenance of a wide range of electrical and power generation equipment’s, preferably in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Risk based inspection (RBI).
