Job Description
Your missions:
Management of deliveries for Domestic & Export Sales, with the support of the Sales & Logistic Back Office:

• • Translate sales forecast into production planning in collaboration with plant manager (on yearly, monthly,weekly and daily basis)
  • Propose efficient transport service to its clients (internal and external)
  • Solve specific transport problems
  • Propose innovative solutions to answer specific customer needs
  • Apply the transport cost control system and reporting
  • Develop metrics to drive continuous improvement with respect to transportation costs, carrier performance and company utilization of both human and equipment resources
  • Prepares reports and statistics regarding transport costs
  • Approve the transport invoices
  • Regularly analyzes the transport market (roads, railway)
  • C reates and regularly updates transport services database
  • Negotiate transportation agreements that promote high levels of service and competitive costs.
  • Keep in contact with customs house and customs brokers
  • Manage orders, contracts, and original documentation for exports.
  • Arrange for exports the logistics to meet shipping deadlines and liaise with shipping agents and port agents on necessary documentation.

Needed Knowledge

• University degree (economics or technical)
• Min. 5 years in commercial and supply chain roles
• Native Arabic speaker, Good knowledge of French & English (written and spoken)
• Understand and have knowledge of port logistics
• Understand the concept of warehousing
• Understanding the concept of road transportation and being able to organize
• Being able to do some negotiations
• Being able to manage administrative and organizational tasks around logistics order management and invoicing
• Ideally have prior experience in this both logistics and customer service
• Have excellent command of Office ( excel / powerpoint mainly ) next to standard office tools
• Have some negotiation skills
• Be very organized and able to take responsibility and be hands on in action
• Have a customer minded approach to business
• Knowledge of SAP system SD&LE modules
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain solutions and services
