DESCRIPTION
BORN IN EXILE, is looking for an innovative and talented RTW Designer to design and assist with the production of clothing, identify and forecast upcoming trends, and select styles, fabrics, prints, and colors for our collection. We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Research trends and brand relevant concepts, details, and silhouettes based on seasonal concepts
· Design illustrators’ flat sketches of proposed designs
· Responsible for managing the design process from conception through production including creating tech packs, patterns and prototypes
· Update design revisions and communicate with the design team.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Excellent attention to detail
· Excellent skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a must
· Strong eye for fashion and trends
· Skills in Lectra is a plus
· Experience not required
