We are expanding our team by recruiting a passionate and qualified
Mechanical and piping engineer
to join our engineering team in Tunis.

Biomass Industries Associates is a leading group of companies in Tunisia, active in the Biomass industries and renewable energy fields.
Working environment and job specification:
– Work as part of a team driving products through their lifecycle including concept generation, prototyping, component assembly, extensive testing.
– Help generate creative solutions to design/performance problems and demonstrate their feasibility by considering factors such as risk, reliability, manufacturability.
– Piping system calculation according to ASME B 31.3, ASME B31.4 and ASME B 31.8 codes
– Piping stress calculation
– Calculation and design of atmospheric tanks according to API 650 codes.
– Development of technical specifications, data sheets and requisitions for the purchase of devices; pressurized as well as atmospheric tanks
– General installation: verification and follow-up of piping and support installation plans
– Verification and follow-up of isometric plans
– Lead in transitioning concepts into products using solid modeling tools, defining requirements, selecting materials and processes.
– Help implement root cause analysis, design failure modes to root cause, and help develop quick, effective solutions.
– Coordinate with others in a multi-disciplinary team environment that includes electrical, mechanical, Process, Automation, and civil.
– Help in verification and validation activities through prototype testing and requirement verification.
– On-site office work / Offsite work may be required
Qualifications:
Essential :
· 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Design and Engineering
· Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
· Ability to work in a diverse and multi-disciplinary team environment.
· Must be detail oriented, highly motivated, and focused on results.
· Strong working knowledge of Autocad, Autocad plan, CAD Worx softwares is required.
