Job Description

The Challenge

We are opening a Financials & Grant Manager role to support Betacube’s effort to collaborate with different components & actors Involved with Betacube Operations.

The Financials & Grant Manager will be taking the Lead on fundraising intelligence , applications and reporting along with overseeing all operations across projects within Betacube. Through its activity, Betacube partners up with Various partners , naming corporates , NGO’s , Government Agencies, and grant funding entities in order to develop further new products and better reinforce its venture building program.

Our expectations from this role is to have someone who can supervise the operations progress on regards of Betacube’s financials and partner requirements for verification and support .

Being accountable to the Chief Executive Officer, you will make sure that our finances are tracked and clear insights on our expenses and financial behaviors are provided. You will make sure the right workflows are in place in order to ensure fluid financial operations.

You will collaborate with admin teams to make sure Financials are carefully tracked and properly managed.

We are looking for a creative, thoughtful, and autonomous team player to help us provide the best experience possible to all actors within the Betacube & thus contributing highly to Betacube’s management capacity and evolution. 70%: Your Commitment to Betacube

• Work closely and coordinate with CEO to define tasks and priorities
• Ensure in budget tracking and management
• Support BetaCube startups in budget setting and representations
• Ensure record keeping and meeting documentation
• Develop dashboards and financial reports
• Ensure Budget documentation and financial reports are properly sorted and indexed
• Cover reporting needs of partner organizations
• Manage Financials
• Facilitate conversations between partner organizations and Betacube Team
• Identify good understanding of the financial challenges in terms of revenue models and Operating costs
• Be responsible for the acquisitions on account of the company
• Ensure maximum satisfaction of collaboration with partner organizations
• Track KPIs and make sure that objectives are reached
• Develop documentation and presentations
• Seek benchmarks for financial performance and

20%: Other Commitments within Betacube

• Oversee Project by project Management Budgeting
• Review Budget Tracking Modalities
• Follow on and track acquisition lists of goods and services
• Continuously develop the Financial and Grant Management Frameworks
• Safekeep Program documentation and grant materials

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in financial management and/or Grant Management related positions in Tunisian SSO’s and Startup ecosystem organizations or within a Fund , an international NGO or a Development Agency
• Project Management/ Account Management/ Financials Experience in relation with Grants and Development Projects
• Confirmed Knowledge in Grant Reporting is needed
• Fluent written and spoken English & French are a must
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiar with Google Suite, Trello and Slack , with sharp interest in collaboration tools
• Able to work on different/ multiple tasks in demonstrated versatility
• Open to work on startup friendly environment
