– OSS/BSS Engineer 

As an OSS/BSS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing our OSS and BSS platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our network management systems, billing systems, and other critical components that facilitate our MVNO operations. This role requires an understanding of telecommunications systems, good technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the OSS/BSS platforms to ensure high availability and reliability of network and business support systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network management, service provisioning, billing, and customer management systems.
• Implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to improve system performance and functionality.
• Collaborate with internal teams and solution vendor to address system integration requirements and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor system performance metrics and generate reports to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
• Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and best practices related to OSS/BSS operations and configuration management.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to telecommunications and MVNO operations.
• Participate in project planning, execution, and deployment activities as needed to support business initiatives and expansion efforts.

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree in Telecommunications, computer science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in telecommunications operations, with a focus on OSS/BSS systems in an MVNO or telecom service provider environment.
• Good knowledge of OSS/BSS concepts, protocols, and standards such as SNMP, SOAP, XML, Diameter, APIs, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation and system integration tasks.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external parties.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud-based OSS/BSS solutions and virtualized network environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to telecommunications services and data privacy.
