Core Network Engineer (MVNO)

As an MVNO Core Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the MVNO core network platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our mobile services and collaborating with various teams to enhance network performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Lead the technical operation and maintenance of the MVNO network, including components such as STP/DRA/HLR/HSS/OCS/SMS-C/USSD, and other critical elements.
Collaborate with the Cloud Infrastructure team to integrate and maintain core network functions into cloud environments, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and efficient resource utilization.
Oversee the NFVI, ensuring proper virtualization and orchestration of network functions.
Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring timely support and effective communication.
Collaborate with MNO to optimize connectivity and interoperability with their networks.
Oversee and manage relationships with roaming partners to facilitate seamless roaming services for MVNO customers.
Implement and monitor performance indicators, analyse network performance, and proactively optimize the core network for efficiency.
Work closely with internal teams to support the evolution of the commercial MVNO offering, providing technical insights and recommendations.
Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies, contributing to the planning and implementation of new technologies.

Qualifications:

Engineering degree in Telecommunications, computer science, or related field.
3+ years of experience in core network, with specific experience in MNO/MVNO/vendor environments being a strong plus.
Good knowledge of core network components such as STP/DRA/HLR/HSS/OCS/SMS-C/USSD, etc.
Capacity in managing vendor relationships and coordinating with Mobile Network Operators.
Good understanding of roaming agreements.
Knowledge of network monitoring tools and performance analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative and agile team environment.
