* Participate in the design of the product lines, define the procedures to follow and write the manufacturing files
* Conduct feasibility studies to adapt the production tools to new sales demands
* Implement qualitative and quantitative process improvements in line with strategic directions
* Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
* Build and monitor daily activity indicators of production workshops (dashboards, graphs …), then optimize production rates.
* Look for techno-economic solutions to optimize production costs (decrease consumption of raw materials …).
Main tasks
* Analyze and determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover product orders from Sales departments
* Study the file of the product to be manufactured, prepare quotation and propose adjustments
* Evaluate the production processes to be implemented
* Provide to the sales department the estimate time and resources allocated to the production order.
* Launch production orders to production units.
* Review logistics performance with customers against targets, benchmarks, and service agreements.
* Transmit to the production, the short, medium and long term schedules and planning.
* Ensure the optimal allocation of resources and workload
* Ensure the order delivery in accordance with deadlines, costs and quality.
* Collaborate with all cross functional team in order to adhere to all the client requirement, to take advantage of sales opportunities or, in the case of shortages, to minimize negative impacts on a business
* Assist to identify and resolve all issues in normal operations and manage all communication for all schedule disruption
* Supervise relations with industrial subcontractors (equipment manufacturers, parts manufacturers, industrial maintenance providers …)
* Follow the day-to-day activity by analyzing the progress indicators
* Measure the gap between actual production and estimated forecasts
* Justify the gaps in production, propose recommendations and adjust the production plan in order to deliver the order on time
* Supervise the test and process development phases
* Prepare and submit status and performance reports
* Evaluate and coordinate the manufacturing potential of machines (load, capacity, yield, etc.) with the available human resources (reassignment of staff, recruitment volumes, etc.). * Define the annual budget and update it (monthly, quarterly or half-yearly depending on the product).
* Help sales department : client prospection and negotiation, strategies definition, market survey,…
Requirement :
* Engineer (Material, Geni-Industrial, Mechanic, Electric or electronic or any related engineer background
* Previous experience as production, planner or technical sales (at least 5 years)
* Estimating the Quantifiable Characteristics of Products
* Read, interpret and understand the results of various analyzes
* Good practice modeling, design and computer-assisted design software (Autocad, corel draw,…)
