XQuant / recrute CDD

We are looking for a new member to join our young and highly motivated team in Tunis.

You will be in charge of developing and maintaining several commercial software used by financial companies.

We propose:

– Both work on existing projects and opportunity to participate in projects that will be started from scratch.
– Work in various areas of software development: UI/UX, business logic, backend, databases. You will be able to focus on a specific area or cover the full stack.
– Lots of interesting and intellectual problems that exist in modern finance.
– Work in distributed team, so you will be able to communicate with different people and get understanding of the problems from research, business and technical views. The time schedule is flexible.

Our requirements:

We use Python as a primary language and would like to see 3+ years of relevant experience – commercial, proprietary or open source projects, pet projects, etc.
Knowledge of software development life cycle, infrastructure, and common software development methodologies and principles.
Willingness to apply your knowledge and skills to develop informational systems and applications, debugging, testing and documenting them.
Analytical skills and ability to solve problems independently.
