TTS CO Cash Head

The Transaction Capture Sr Supv is an intermediate management level position responsible for leading and supervising a medium sized unit of support employees, in coordination with TTS Client Operations team. The overall objective of this role is to manage Cash and Clearing department, improve operations processes, Analyze and adequately interpret data, produce reports and minimize bank risk by ensuring adherence to local regulations, control policies and internal / external audit requirements.

• Management and Oversight of cash team units including but not limited to local currency payments, check clearing and all tellers operations. Efforts and focus will be on following closely follow-up of the transactions’ executions to reduce overall time to market.
  Also to give priority to resolution of customer enquiries with a timely escalation of exceptions.
• Deputize for the Trade management unit including but not limited to Support trade capture management, Front to back reconciliation, operational risk identification, transaction processing and exception handling.

• Integrate a solid understanding of industry and business standards and practices of transactions capture and all the related functions
• Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies to make recommendations to senior management in support of improving processes
• Solve complex problems or transactions independently, utilizing knowledge of policies, guidelines or processes and escalate as needed.
• Interpret data, prepare reports, and present findings to management.
• Design and analyze complex reports and make recommendations based on identified trends, facts and policy gaps.
• Minimize risk to the bank, provide solutions to reduce errors, and adhere to audit and control policies
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
• Oversee quality reviews, end results, budget, policy formulation and planning
• Manage client transaction reporting, including new product introductions, statement migrations, branding, legal disclaimers, etc.
• Apply comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues
• Negotiate internally, often at senior levels (across functions) and with external parties, as needed
• Ensure compliance with third party management standards for all vendors that provides services to the Cash unit

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years relevant experience
• Demonstrated people management, leadership and development skills
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Trade knowledge and exchange regulation mastering would be a plus

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
