Manufacturing Manager

(Tunisia)

• Reporting to the Site Manager, you assume responsibility for production, processes and methods and ensure the reliability and achievement of manufacturing objectives at our site.
• Organizing and adapting human resources according to the loads of the production units, you’ll guarantee supply process at units level, in collaboration with the logistic service and follow up the production indicators, with optimization of technical means, deadlines and costs.

 JOB DESCRIPTION 

PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT:

• Determine, organize, optimize and control the production activities and equipment
• Track daily productions against forecasts and make sure to achieve required output
• Responsible for manufacturing facilities, production equipment and anomalies, suggesting remedies and ensuring their execution.
• Ensure development of technical know-how and best practices
• Ensure manufacturing compliance, safety and environment standards.
• Respect quality production targets (time, cost, performance) relating to Quality indicators.
• Propose necessary investments to improve means of production (investment material, recruitment, training …).
• Proactive with other main functions to reinforce internal communications
• Prepare periodic activity reports to correct deviations.
• Participate in the determination of production objectives and prepare the annual budget of its structure.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:

• Coach and lead your teams within the factory and propose changes in organization to the Site Manager.
• Define the training needs and organize the scheduled activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in european companies and matrix organizations 
• Graduate degree, Electronics or Electro mechanical Engineer.
• Experience: Strong and proven experience required in electronic manufacturing plant. Minimum of 7 years in a similar position, achieving solid results and driving change in complex working environments.
• Strong knowledge of Lean/World Class Manufacturing tools and execution in high mix low volume environment
• Strong responsibility attitude, strong leadership, problem solving skills and good communication approach.
• Residence in Europe and availability to live in Tunisia 

• Language: French mandatory / Italian and English needed
