Freelance EPLAN Electrical Designer:

• 📅Start Date: February 2025
• 📍Location: Fully Remote

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled EPLAN Electrical Designer to join our team on a freelance basis.
This project focuses on EMSR (Electrical, Measurement, Control, and Regulation) technology within process plant systems, and we are looking for a professional who can create detailed and compliant schematics in line with European standards.

➡ Position Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality electrical schematics that adhere to current European norms and standards. This project will involve collaboration on detailed schematics, parts lists, and documentation to ensure the effective support of process control requirements.

➡Key Responsibilities:

*Create precise and accurate circuit diagrams using EPLAN Electric P8.
*Interpret P&ID diagrams and follow specifications as outlined in Excel.
*Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards to design secure systems.
*Deliver final schematics within the project timeline.

➡Key Requirements:

*Proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8, with a proven track record of generating detailed circuit diagrams.
*Strong understanding of P&ID and Excel integration.
*Awareness of safety standards applicable to electrical design.
*Proven ability to meet project deadlines consistently.

✅ Specific Document Requirements:

*Development of circuit diagrams, terminal plans, and bill of materials (BOM) using EPLAN and Excel.
*Creation of summary BOMs, both full and cabinet-specific.
*Preparation of CPU and PLC I/O layout overviews.
*Design of cable plans and I/O assignment lists in both EPLAN and Excel.
*Control cabinet layout documentation with precise measurements.
*Completion of final revisions after fabrication and site acceptance tests (SAT).
*All documentation must be provided in electronic PDF format.
*Generation of SEQ files and PLC I/O tags.
*Compliance with calculation and verification requirements, including thermal and load capacity analyses.
*A good English communication is required for this position (German is a plus)
*Optional: Conducting safety level (PL) calculations using tools such as Systema or PASCAL.
