Senior Business Analyst
M&C is a provider of financial services and solutions for the global travel industry, with a focus on revenue accounting and payment area. We are growing our team and therefore looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated and talented Senior Business Analyst to join our team.
You will be part of a cross functional team located in Tunis and Sophia Antipolis and covering the spectrum of payment management product. The team has close interactions with major carriers around the globe that help build a strong and collaborative relationship. You will have the opportunity to work in a multi-cultural environment and have frequent interactions with other colleagues and teams in other M&C sites such as Tunis (Tunisia) and our partners.
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be in charge of understanding the business needs of our customers, and design the application that will answer those requirements. This includes writing specifications of the application as well as writing and executing test plans to ensure conformity with specifications and quality of the delivered solution..
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements submitted by Product Management or Customers
- Elaborate functional specifications
- Deliver test plans and test scenarios
- Test the development to ensure compliance of the delivered functionality and grant functional sign off
- Ensure production integrity by validating and prioritizing reported problems.
- Interface and communicate with Product Management
- Interface with customer and M&C experts during functional specification, testing and initial implementation phases as necessary
- Prior programming experience is a plus
- Troubleshoot and investigate defects raised by our customers to ensure compliance of our products to the specifications and system integrity
- Show creativity and autonomy in finding solutions to nontrivial problems
About the Ideal candidate:
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is essential
- A minimum of five years of experience in Business Analysis is required.
- The candidate should be an open-minded individual capable of adapting to a multicultural team environment.
- Flexibility to adjust to the dynamic needs of projects as dictated by clients is necessary.
- Creative thinking, devising innovative solutions, and developing tools to enhance productivity are key competencies.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
- The candidate must have the capacity and willingness to comprehend complex functional flows and processes.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are crucial.
- Experience in the financial sector is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Power BI is strongly recommended.
- Familiarity with UiPath is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Python is advantageous.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team setting is required.
- A customer-centric and quality-oriented approach is vital.
- Proactivity and adaptability are essential traits.
