Description:
We are a well-established commodity trading company with our headquarters in Dubai and branch offices in Paris, Tunisia, and Abidjan. As we continue to expand, we are currently seeking a highly motivated Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic team based in Lac1 Tunis, Tunisia.
Tasks:
Your main responsibilities will include:
Performing daily bank account reconciliations in various currencies.
Preparing weekly bank reconciliations.
Managing supplier payments through bank transfer applications.
Verifying bank details with new suppliers.
Assisting in preparing documents to secure credit facilities.
Ensuring meticulous upkeep of accounting documentation and generating monthly invoices.
Collaborating closely with the operations team to gather essential information.
Providing support in responding to accountant inquiries.
Creating various financial dashboards to aid decision-making.
Candidate Profile:
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements:
A degree in accounting from a reputable university.
Possess 1-2 years of practical experience in accounting.
Proficient in advanced Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
Display keen attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills.
Exhibit excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Demonstrate outstanding organizational abilities, capable of multitasking and managing time effectively.
Prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines are met.
Must be fluent in both English and French.
