Position Summary:

Work closely with TMEA Marketing Leader and Poultry Marketing Manager for Turkey, commercial leadership and teams in MENAGSE to provide input into Pet Health (PH), Aqua (WWA), Large animals (LA) & Bioprotection/Bees (BioP/B) Marketing Strategies for Elanco Animal Health in MENAGSE. This position will be involved in the development, adjustment and execution of strategies and marketing plans for relevant brands related to the above listed species to ensure alignment with global brands strategies and business objectives. The role interacts with key suppliers, including agencies and sit on multiple internal and external cross functional teams.

Key focus of this role will be coordination and execution of two strategic development plans, PH and WWA/Bees, till they are fully implemented.

Collaboration with CEERTMEA and global respective species marketing teams will be required as well as to provide input to the global marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Implementation of MENAGSE affiliate strategic development plans for PH and WWA/Bees as well as respective brands plans & promotion for PH, WWA, Bees, LA and Bioprotection upon priorities agreed with TMEA/CEERTMEA Marketing and Commercial Leadership:
• Close collaboration with CEERTMEA Marketing team and MENAGSE Commercial Leaders for all strategic and annual marketing plans or any crucial/critical project
• Development of the annual marketing plans for focused & defend brands according to Global/INT. Marketing guidance and local priorities agreed for MENAGSE with CEERTMEA Marketing and MENAGSE Commercial leaders.
• Implementation of marketing campaigns in the affiliate to meet sales targets in accordance with specific tasks stipulated in the annual marketing plan for this category.
• Coordination of the production and supply of all support/promotional material
• Cooperation with Business/Marketing support personnel responsible for supply of promotional materials such as but not limited to: brochures, leaflets, posters, souvenirs in accordance with the global and regional platforms and requirements.
• Responsible and accountable to fulfill the role in the creation, review and approval of Promotional Materials as defined in the current EGQS and CEERTMEA Practice.
• Forecasting costs for products promotion and timely production of promotional materials
• Establishment of business relations with the key business partners
• Building relationships with the relevant external companies, KOL

Basic Qualifications (education, experience and/or trainings):Education/Experience

• Veterinary science or higher education in marketing
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Marketing

Required Skills

• Interest in animal health and business related
• Experience in Pet Health and/or Farm Animal health marketing
• Keen interest in marketing
• Positive attitude to and compliance with the principles of Elanco’s corporate culture
• Real-life experience of effective work in various functional areas, such as R&D, Marketing, sales, finance, customer service and business development.
• Experience in teamwork, proactivity, focus on results and focus on customers.
• Excellent organizational and performance skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, proficiency in English, French language knowledge beneficial
• Personal responsibility and diligence in accomplishment of tasks.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multi tasks.
• Understanding and compliance with Elanco’s rules and procedures and requirements for approval of projects.

Preferred Skills Experience And Education

• Multi-language proficiency is a desirable, but not mandatory requirement
• Focus on customers, understanding of their needs and values expectations and the ability to express such requirements in a meaningful positioning for the brand/product.
• Knowledge and understanding of various channels of the marketing environment (veterinarians, wholesale, phytosanitary and pharmaceuticals) will be an advantage
