✅Responsibilities 👨‍💻

👉 Leading the DevOps team in a highly available and safety-related environment
👉 Buildout the infrastructure used to handle our environments
👉 Participating in architecture and software development activities.
👉 Building distributed systems using the latest technologies, improving the scalability and cost efficiency.
👉 Coaching, mentoring and training junior team members in optimizing software engineering and end to end delivery.
👉 Ability to plan, build and lead large scale transformations including DevOps, testing and cloud native projects.
👉 Advising clients on appropriate DevOps strategies specific to their unique business needs;
👉 Supervise and deliver architecture design, infrastructure design, build and deployment activities;
👉 Working closely with architects and developers to define building blocks and new features

✅ Required Skills: ⚒️

👉 Very good understanding of Linux internals, Networking, HTTP protocol and Distributed Systems
👉 Must be familiar with AWS Services – including but not limited to CloudFormation/CDK, EC2, ElastiCache, Lambda, RDS, Serverless, S3, ASC etc.
👉 Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes
👉 Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as
GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, BitBucket Pipelines or Jenkins
👉 Understanding around automation, how to scale, and Python scripts
👉 Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as Python
👉 Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service
👉 Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
👉 Process-oriented with great documentation skills
👉 Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
👉 Strong experience in a cloud-based environment, eg one of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
👉 Strong experience of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation
👉 Strong experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet
👉 Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated tooling such as Jenkins
👉 Experience with and automation and creating system & process efficiencies
👉 Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, Bash
👉 Experience with Nutanix
