EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER (Expert)

For our new subsidiary in Tunisia, SHERPA ENGINEERING is looking for Embedded SW Engineers (Expert)

• Job Description :
  • The activity will take place in the international enthusiastic FW&SW development team and mainly will consist implementation of the design and requirements into a software program for a Climate unit software embedded system for Automotive market. Our office is located in Tunis.

• Mission :
  • Create and Lead a team of engineers capable in the short term to :
    – Develop, code, integrate, test (at unit level) and troubleshoot a high quality embedded software starting from Software Requirements and Software Architecture.
    – Create Documentation of technical solutions, sw modules, issues description etc.
    – Participate to Peer Review of Software Requirements Specification, Software Architecture Design and Code Review.
    – Support the Embedded Software Architect in the final Customer Requirements and Customer Thermal Systems Requirements analysis.
    – Participate to Software Architecture Design.
    – Run unit tests of modules and take care of debugging.
    – Ensure the maintenance of the delivered code.
    – Verify that the code meets the metrics and thresholds reported in the appropriate plans (nesting level, complexity cyclomatic, comment density, etc.)
    The Embedded Software Engineer shall respond and report to the Embedded Software Architect and System/Software Project Leader.
• Technical skills:

– Knowledge of C/C++ languages (Matlab/Simulink is a plus)
– Background in automotive bus systems (CAN, LIN, etc)
– Requirements management (DOORS) and project management (RedMine tools)
– Familiarized with of Automotive SPICE, ISISand AUTOSAR is a plus)
– Knowledge of microprocessors and microcontrollers (Renesas/Freescale)
– Knowledge of tools: CANape, CANoe, Green Hills Multi IDE , Tessy and Debug tool.
– Familiarity with software configuration management tools (SVN, TortoiseSVN), defect tracking tools, and peer review

• Education:
  • Computer Science Degree, Electronic Engineering Degree.
• Former Experiences:
  • Good to have a 3+ years of experiences as Embedded Development in automotive area.
• Languages:
  • English&French good Level Spoken and Written
