Software QA Lead

Responsibilities

• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against schedules
• Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product quality via manual and automated tests
• Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
• Drive efficiencies in the QA process and invest appropriately in process changes, automation, and tools to reduce the overall QA effort for the product
• Conduct functional regression testing and automation for APIs and core system features using ready-made or in-house built tools
• Write automated tests with scripting tools and/or user-level automated tools such as Selenium
• Work closely with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases based on requirements, specifications, technical design, and team discussions
• Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, and analytical skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
