PURCHASING LEAD – AVL & CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
Responsibilities
The Purchasing Lead – AVL & Contract Manager will globally support, lead, and maintain supplier IATF certification across indirect purchasing commodities including with Maintenance, Repair & Operations , External Engineering, Machinery & Tooling and Information Technology. Key responsibilities include monitoring expiration and setting up (support) of certifications, maintenance of approved vendor lists (AVL) as well as direct support with IATF evaluations. Strong follow up and communication with Business Owners and Buyers. Responsibilities also include management of all Indirect Purchasing contracts within VFile (or current/other contract repository file system). This includes uploading of contracts, organization of supplier folders, uploading/maintaining key metrics (i.e. start/stop dates, auto renewals, etc.). The role will include setting a process/procedure for current/future work across both key roles.
Your main tasks are:
1. IATF Requirements Setting: Reviewing IATF requirements and determining requirements, specifications and approvals. It includes such procedures and tasks as:
1. Maintaining AVL lists: confirming/reviewing current and required certifications
2. Supplier follow ups: evaluation of required formats/certs, follow up, ensuring certifications are uploaded
3. Action Plans: ensuring timely supplier follow ups and communication to Buyers as well as Business Owners
4. Audit Support: where needed, provide communication, formats, timelines, etc. and communication with audit leads (external and internal)
2. Contract Management: includes management of key contractual documents across Indirect Purchasing including with the following items:
1. Identification of key contractual terms (start/end dates, auto renewals, etc.) – uploading key dates into VFile and ensuring alignment with contracts/Buyers/Category Managers/Business Owners
2. Manage contract file folders – ensure proper organization of folders including by commodities/suppliers/locations (where applicable) and ID by contract type (MSA, PSA, NDAs etc.).
3. Maintenance of NDAs – ensure supplier NDAs are uploaded, dates are stated (incl. expire dates), expiration dates are noted/communicated, etc.
Graduation and Job Experience :
1. Bachelor’s degree
2. Experience 3-5 years
Skills :
1. ISO/IATF experience (preferred, not required), familiarity with requirements, documentation
2. Experience of commercial / procurement knowledge of contracts, NDAs, etc.
3. Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal
4. Time management, organization, and effective follow up skills
Language :
