Ø About The Turkish Maarif Foundation (TMV):

TMV is a non-profit public educational foundation, qualified to operate institutions from pre-school to higher education all around the world (44 countries with 357 schools).

The aim of the foundation is to contribute to cultural enhancement and civilisational interaction as well as the advancement of common wellbeing through Education. Each one of our schools adapts/develops a curriculum that suits their host country’s culture, ethos and milieu.

Ø About International Maarif School of Tunisia (IMST):

Founded in 2017, the International Maarif School of Tunisia follows a Cambridge curriculum and provides a full schooling program from Kinder-garten to High-school. IMST provides a skill-based curriculum in order to prepare students for Cambridge’s qualification examinations (IGCSE, AS & A Level), which are internationally recognized by universities throughout the world. Language acquisition is highly valued by IMST and this is why we offer French, Arabic and Turkish as secondary languages, with English being our main language.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience with Cambridge Curriculum with early years
Implements instructional activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences
Identifies, selects, and modifies instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs
Assists in assessing changing curricular needs and offers plans for improvement
Maintains effective and efficient record keeping procedures
Provides a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process
Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis
Collaborates with peers to enhance the instructional environment
Models professional and ethical standards when dealing with students, parents, peers, and community
Ensures that student growth and achievement is continuous and appropriate for age group, subject area, and/or program classification
Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with students, parents, and schools
Assumes responsibility for meeting his/her course and school-wide student performance goals
Demonstrates gains in student performance
Meets professional obligations through efficient work habits such as: meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating, and participating in special events
