RESPONSIBILITIES
▹ Take ownership of the backend refactoring and legacy projects.
▹ Be part of the IT core team (CTO, DevOps, Architect).
▹ Lead the backend product development team.
▹ Conception of the new infrastructure, data structure and software logic with the IT core team.
▹ Implement the software architecture that your developers will then work on.
▹ Apply continuous refactoring practice to transition from legacy to refactoring project.
▹ Select candidates and conduct technical interviews to pick your team members.
▹ Define and enforce the best development practices for your team.
▹ Mentor your team, promote communication, documentation and information sharing.

EXPECTATIONS
▹ 7+ years experience in PHP (OOP, design patterns).
▹ Recent professional experience in MySQL, Elasticsearch.
▹ Experience with Go and Python is a plus.
▹ Comfortable in written and spoken English.

ARCHITECTURE
▹ PHP 5.6 (Phalcon 1) moving in parallel toward PHP 7+ (Symfony 5+, open to other frameworks).
▹ Python and Go services.
▹ MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch.
▹ Google Cloud Platform using Terraform, Docker, Ansible and Jenkins.
▹ OVH using Docker swarm, GitLab CI/DI.
