System Engineer

Due to fast and continued growth, DARE are looking to expand the team with an additional Systems Engineer. Working with businesses across Europe, DARE offer consultancy and support to organisations that have Apple technology. We live and breathe Apple, we’re part of the Apple Consultants Network and a Jamf Gold Partner.

DARE have also developed in-house applications to help organisations succeed with Apple that compliments the JAMF platform.

Based in Edinburgh and Newcastle with a global client base, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a passion for Apple products and has JAMF skills to profess their careers.

There is an opportunity to work remotely but we would require at least a quarterly visit to Newcastle for training and team building.

For any non UK based applications, you must be within a 2 hour time difference with the UK and speak fluent English.

The Systems Engineer position would be a hybrid of helpdesk support and professional services using primarily Jamf. Other duties would involve supporting our clients with Jamf, Onboarding new clients, system health checks, pre-sales consultancy and the maintenance of the DARE macOS products.

We would welcome candidates with the following skill set :-

• Jamf Certification (200 or 300 Preferred)
• Experience with the administration of Jamf Pro
• Experience with the macOS & iOS platforms
• Understanding of enterprise tools like Apple Business Manager
• Experience with script languages such as Bash, Python and Swift
• Working knowledge of Identity Providers like Okta, Google and Azure
• Understanding of AutoPKG & Munki would also be advantageous.
