Legal affairs manager
TCSE, Tunisian Center for Social Entrepreneurship, a national organization based in Tunis and working on Social Entrepreneurship, is recruiting a legal affairs manager in Tunis.
The legal affairs manager will provide technical support and legal advice for all activities relevant to TCSE expertise. He/she will provide further assistance in the development of internal procedures for the TCSE and provide support to the management of TCSE with legal advice. He/she will provide technical support and advice to the entrepreneurs supported by TCSE innovation hubs. All activities would be carried out in collaboration with the support of TCSE management.
More specifically, the Legal expert will be entrusted with the following tasks:
1. Legal support to TCSE
● Develops and executes TCSE legal strategy for international, national and regional teams, to include:
○ Rules and regulations and education strategy for national and regional teams
○ Contract roll-out strategy for national and regional teams
○ Develop contract approval process
● Implements TCSE legal strategy for national and regional teams
● Act as single point-of-contact (PoC) for all international, national and regional partnership, HR, service agreements (real estate, etc.) contract design and review.
● Advises the executive director in negotiating and signing agreements and contracts.
● Provides legal advice and support for all activities of TCSE
● Provides consultation on relevant processes, standards and procedures to TCSE
● Prepare, edit, close contracts, agreements and any relevant legal document for TCSE
● Provide legal advice on activities, use of space, event organization and hoteling related to TCSE and Lingare venues
● Create and enforce code of conduct policy for all TCSE volunteers, employees, partners and third parties
● Coordinate with admin/finance assistant relevant legal matters
● Responsible for review and enforcement of all contracts to include escalations to the executive director
2. Legal support to entrepreneurs from TCSE/Lingare networks
● One day per week be available for consultancy to entrepreneurs and associations from the TCSE/Lingare networks
● Provide legal advice and support to entrepreneurs recommended by the TCSE
● Provide guidance on intellectual property, negotiable contract terms, branding requirements, etc.
3. Legal communication
● Research on legal updates and news
● Coordinate with communications manager legal content creation (legal updates, tips, etc) relevant to entrepreneurs and associations

Education
● B.Sc. degree in Law; Business law
● Bar exam and/or Attorney at Law considered an asset.
Experience : More than 3 years of professional experience in development of legal and policy documents
Work conditions: Innovation hub in Tunis. Working days can include weekends.
Working language: French, English and Arabic
Location: Tunis + Mobility in some regions (Mahdia, Sidi Bouzid, Kasserine…).
Duration: 6 months (renewable) (CDD). To start working by 01 October 2017.
