Are you up for the challenge of leading the Payroll specialist function for the launch of the Tunisian subsidiary of a multinational company? Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, this position is responsible for producing the site-wide payroll.
This includes ensuring an accurate and timely set up and ongoing check of all payroll-related benefits, direct deposits, leave accruals and required deductions for all staff, as well as maintaining accurate data for employee work performed and drafting the relevant reporting associated with the payroll tasks, regulatory tax, social security and health benefits declarations.
At least 2 years’ experience in a payroll environment, ideally working with SAGE or a similar payroll system.
The candidate must have solid knowledge of payroll practices and procedures as well as accounting processes such as encumbrance and/or payroll tax filing and reconciliation.
